Clean Touch ID Sensor
One of the reasons of unable to complete Touch ID setup is that your Touch ID sensor is dirty which makes it cannot record your fingerprint clearly. What you need do is remove the specks of dirt with a clean cloth.
Sometimes unable to complete Touch ID setup is due to the fingerprint, so have a try to enrolling a different finger. Probably the different finger will complete the process and the device will positively read it and unlock your device without fail.
1.Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode
2.Enter your passcode to access
3.Swipe from right to left on each fingerprint to delete them.
4.Scroll down to “Add a Fingerprint” and tap on it to add the your Fingerprint.
Turn On/Off iPhone Unlock Option
It is observed that turn off and turn on iPhone unlock option could solve unable complete Touch ID setup problem. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode, enter the passcode, turn off iPhone unlock.
